After Vowing to protect their Communities against boko-terrorists, Local hunters in Adamawa state have eliminated over 80 Boko sect members in Maiha town of Adamawa state, reclaiming it from boko-terrorists, reports today.
The fearless
hunters engaged the terrorists in a fierce battle following Boko Haram’s
attack on their town. The local hunters who said they have successfully
captured Maiha town back from the insurgents said they had to mobilise
other hunters from surrounding towns to engage the insurgents.
“We fought gallantly, killed 80 members of the insurgents and recaptured Mahia Local Government headquarters from their control,” said one hunter who didn’t want to be named.
He also disclosed that if not for the military that doesn’t want them to engage the sect, they would have sent Boko Haram away from Adamawa and beyond, and also recapture all towns currently in their control.
“If the military can authorise us and give us back-ups, we will wipe out the insurgents because we know their hideouts and if it is juju (local charms), we will match them with it.
“Boko Haram fear us because they know what we can do. Let the military leave us with Boko Haram and see what is going to happen.
Kudos to our brave hunters....
